Just off the main high street Nailsea’s first micropub opened on 27th September 2019 in a former opticians. Originally the pub served cask ales, but as of January 2026 this ceased, and further keg lines are being installed, which will provide up to 10 craft beers, as well as cider and lager. The beer offerings, displayed on a chalkboard, are of all styles from around the country but usually include some from local breweries. Bottle and can conditioned live beers are available as are real ciders, various spirits, wines, alcohol-free and soft drinks, as well as reasonably priced bar snacks. Although there is no dedicated parking, there are ample car parks nearby as well as the X7, X7a & X9 bus stops. The pub opens at 10am on Market Days which occur on the third Saturday of the month, and has a quiz night the second Wed of the month. The TV is used for major sports events on terrestrial TV only. May occasionally open on Sundays - announced usually via Facebook. Well behaved dogs welcome, and children until 6pm. The owner often visits Nottingham so brings back a few ales from breweries there.
