Sam Gregory has been presented with a special award by Bristol & District CAMRA for the fantastic work that has been done in saving and further renovating the the Crown Tavern on Lawfords Gate in St Judes, Bristol.

Many thought the pub was doomed to closure and redevelopment until Sam (whose other Bristol pub interests include the Bank Tavern off the city centre and the Nova Scotia in Hotwells) stepped in.

The award presentation took place at the Crown Tavern on the evening of Wednesday 26 August 2026.
