Easily spotted from a distance due to the large black and white image of Jimi Hendrix on the front, this tiny, friendly pub is handy for Temple Meads station as well as city centre and Cabot Circus shopping. One regular and three changing beers are served, often from local breweries and often including a dark beer. Posters from Bristol's music history adorn the walls, and board games are provided. Around 10 malt whiskies and selected vodkas, gins and rums are also available, together with Belgian bottled beers. Outside tables increase capacity during good weather. Weekday lunchtime meals are popular with local office workers. A cheese board comes out on a Sunday evening, and the last Sunday of the month is poetry night. Opening hours may vary seasonally.
