Time warp pub at the junction of two narrow lanes about 1.5 miles from A370 which could easily be missed due to the faded pub sign. The original bar is a tiny room off the corridor, with faded nicotine walls, and a roomful of lively conversation. In 2015 a second bar at the end of the corridor was opened to provide a larger drinking area. Superb beer and cider is served straight from the barrel, cooled by an immersion system. A further room has also been added to accommodate functions including occasional Bistro Nights. At the back is a huge garden for summer barbecues and outdoor musical events. Evening meals Thursday and Friday only from a small menu. Two or three beers from local brewers plus real cider.
