The well-maintained but unprepossessing exterior hides a lovely old pub with oak beams, low ceilings and several small dining areas. The two changing beers are usually from Butcombe. Check out the walled garden at the back too: It is a sun trap in the summer with an abundance of flowers and shrubs proving an oasis in the centre of Old Market. The interesting food offerings are all vegan. A good selection of board games are available to play.
