Reopened after long closure April 2025. Thoroughly modernised interior. An historic coaching inn built in 1868. It is nestled at the heart of Fishponds, Bristol, combining centuries-old character with modern touches to create a unique community hub. With its preserved architectural features, including the original coaching arch entrance and a Victorian stable repurposed as an outdoor bar, there is a blend of nostalgia and contemporary appeal. Burgers are the main food option. All draught drinks are from SW independent producers-no national brands.
Deceptively spacious inside and out with many areas. Main toilets upstairs but there are smaller ones downstairs. Street parking close by can be tricky but new bus 16 passes right outside with many others on nearby Fishponds Road.
