Micropub opened in May 2019 in a former charity shop at the eastern end of the main street, and now established as a place for quality beer in the area. The bar area as you enter is simply but comfortably furnished and there is a small snug area at the rear which has recently been extended to increase the drinking space. The beers and ciders for sale are displayed on a retro-style computer screen on the wall. Board games available and there is low-volume background music. Regular tap takeovers from local breweries and some further afield. Usually three or four cask beers plus up to five keg options and three or four real ciders. Good mix of friendly regulars and occasional visitors. Very dog friendly. Air conditioning for hotter days. Card payment only.
