One of many popular pubs on King Street, the Volley keeps its customers warm in front of the snug fireplace in winter, and cool(er) on its sun-trap, roof terrace (heated in winter) and street-level benches in summer. Although pump clips are not displayed, a beer board displays which local and/or independent cask and keg beers are on offer, with prices shown for third, half and full pints.
