A new build Farmhouse Inn chain pub, owned by Greene King which opened in September 2014. All tables have cutlery and condiments provided suggesting that food takes primacy, although drinkers are made welcome too. Opening at 0900 for breakfast, alcohol is available from 1100. A full table service menu is available from 1130 as is the 7 day a week carvery which comes in 3 sizes and is very popular at weekends. The large car park included two electric vehicle charging points.
